2012 – 2016 Consultant – Educator Prep and Go Urban Wildfire Preparedness, Kelsey, CA Achievements and Responsibilities Established and ran Randy s Reliable Updates , a wildfire information and education Facebook group with over 7000 members. Researched, validated and managed online information and real time updates on regional wildfires and severe weather. Educated members on wildland firefighting practices as well as preparing for fire. Provided consultation services on Urban-Wildland Interface (WUI) issues including defensible space planning, wildfire preparation, hazards, and equipment needs.
