Sacramento, CA – The California Taxpayer Protection Committee has unanimously and enthusiastically endorsed Steve Bailey in the hotly contested District 4 State Senate race. Bailey is a retired Superior Court Judge and founding partner of the California Constitutional Rights Foundation, a non-profit civil rights organization dedicated to defending Constitutional freedom and liberty by representing victims of government abuse and over-reach.
“Steve Bailey has a long record of making government live within its means,” explained Tom Hudson, President of the California Taxpayer Protection Committee, “Judge Bailey first earned his reputation as a Fiscal Conservative while serving as Deputy Director of Legislation for the State Department of Social Services under Governor George Deukmejian and later whilst preforming his administrative duties as a Superior Court Judge in El Dorado County.”
“With Steve Bailey we have an opportunity to elect a leader who not only believes in limited government, but has challenged big government in court and won, successfully defending our Constitutional freedoms,” said Hudson.
“We recommend Steve Bailey to voters because he will stand-up to the spending lobby in Sacramento and work to protect our freedom and liberty,” Hudson concluded.
The California Taxpayer Protection Committee is a non-partisan statewide taxpayer advocacy organization that fights to stop reckless and unnecessary government spending. The group supports candidates who seek justice for taxpayers, lower taxes and fees, tax simplification, and tax reform.
The deadline to return ballots is Tuesday, June 7.
