In response to the recent gang shooting in Sacramento, Gavin Newsom immediately called for increased gun control measures. Gun control is not the answer, KEEPING VIOLENT CRIMINALS IN PRISON IS THE ANSWER!

We need more representatives in the State Senate who will hold criminals accountable, not punish law abiding gun owners. That’s why I am asking for your help on my campaign.

The details are still unfolding, but we know that one of the suspects arrested in connection to the shooting, Smiley Martin, has a lengthy criminal history. He has been arrested for charges ranging from robbery, illegal possession of an assault rifle with an intent to sell, and domestic abuse of his girlfriend.

Thanks to Gavin Newsom and radical Democrats in Sacramento, Martin was released from his 10 year sentence after serving only four years in prison. If this criminal was still serving his sentence in prison right now, this tragic shooting may not have happened.
