On behalf of the Sons of The American Legion in Placerville, we thank the foundation for their donation.
We use our funds to help veterans in our community as much as we can.
The Hero Foundation’s donation will help us out tremendously.

The Gilmore Hero Foundation is dedicated to providing support to veterans and active duty military and first responders in El Dorado County.
This foundation was created with the main goal of serving those who have dedicated their lives in service to us. We work closely with other organizations and foundations in El Dorado County to provide services to those in need.
Whether it is providing housing assistance for veterans in need or raising money to provide necessary equipment to first responders, we are here to help.
Please support us in our efforts to continue providing these needed services to those great men and women who have worn a uniform to better our way of life.
Strength In Community
Time for a Change
Our goal is simple: to raise and donate money to active military, Veterans, and first responders of El Dorado County. The Gilmore Hero Foundation is founded by veterans, and dedicated to serving those who have served us.
As a Non-Profit, our team is dedicated to ensuring that each one of these individuals has an outlet to turn to for any basic need or financial assistance. We provide support to Veteran groups and many other organizations.
We raise money through donations and events throughout the year, such as dinners, golf tournaments, and more. Additionally, our team pairs up with local businesses, churches, and more to raise money and provide assistance to families of active military, veterans, and first responders.
At the Gilmore Hero Foundation, we’re proud to help relieve some of the hardships these individuals and their families may be experiencing.
