INCLINE VILLAGE, Nev. – A 46-year-old woman from Bend, Oregon was arrested by deputies from Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in Incline Village Friday night.
Just before 8:00 p.m. on March 25, deputies made a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Tanis Hershkowitz. After initially stopping the vehicle for traffic violations, deputies discovered items in the vehicle which led them to believe there may be illegal drugs within. A search of the vehicle resulted in 85 grams of cocaine and other evidence consistent with the packaging and distribution of drugs, according to the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Hershkowitz is being held in the Washoe County Detention Facility on traffic and drug charges including possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance to sell.
