Aaron Bliss won this week’s fan vote for the Sacramento-area MVP of the high school boys’ basketball season, edging out Elk Grove star Ameere Britton in fan voting. Bliss finished with 49% of the vote while Britton nabbed 31%; nobody else had a double-digit percentage of the votes.
The Bee’s All-Metro team and official Player of the Year story, chosen by Bee staff, will run in the coming weeks. Bliss turned heads his senior season, the 6-foot-10 Bruins star showcasing versatility and leadership as a driving force behind a 27-0 regular season.
