LUNAFEST features a program of eight short films that empower and inspire. This year’s stories are told from a variety of perspectives highlighting women’s aspirations, accomplishments, resilience, strength, and connections.
This year will be both virtual and in person. Virtually the films will be available for a full 48 hours, from 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2. The in-person event on Thursday, March 31, starts at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6) and includes a silent auction which may be extended virtually as well.
Complementary desserts are provided and some small plates and beverages will be available for sale.
Proceeds from LUNAFEST benefit the club’s mission to provide financial aid for education of women who are solely responsible for themselves and their families, as well provide a donation to Chicken & Egg Pictures, a nonprofit organization that supports women nonfiction filmmakers.
