The makers of Tahoe Blue Vodka have experienced significant growth in the past few years, and a recent deal with a national distribution company is expected to bolster that trajectory.
South Lake Tahoe-based Tahoe Spirits Inc. founder and CEO Matt Levitt told the Business Journal that over the last few years, the company has been averaging around 40% year-over-year sales growth. Following a year in which overall vodka sales contracted by approximately 10%, Levitt said Tahoe Blue Vodka’s growth sees it outpacing the product category by more than 40%.
“We are growing explosively and we consider ourselves very fortunate, excited and optimistic about these next few years,” Levitt said.
Levitt declined to disclose the company’s annual revenue from 2021, though he said Tahoe Spirits has experienced 300% compound growth since 2019 and that sales of 53,000 cases in 2021 were up 31% from the year prior.
