“Facing Evil” is the true story of Sacramento Sheriff Deputy Scott Brown, the first to face this evil and survive.
‘Facing Evil’ chronicles horrific NorCal cop killings.
On October 24th, 2014, evil came to Sacramento, California with methamphetamine in his veins, and whispers of murder in his thoughts. He and his wife engaged in a several-hour Bonnie and Clyde-like crime spree, killing two deputies and wounding a third deputy and a civilian. More victims and witnesses were terrorized as a several hour manhunt ensued, locking down schools and neighborhoods. The effects of chaos reverberated throughout the region until the couple was taken into custody.
But it was only the beginning of a long journey through loss, grief, post-traumatic stress, and a painful trial. For years afterward, this evil spread to torment the souls of many more officers, claiming marriages, careers, and peace of mind.
