Why are you running for this office?
Beth Gaines: I’m running to protect our precious quality of life. I will fight to stop out-of-control growth and work to ease traffic congestion. I’ll also continue to build our local economy and turn El Dorado Hills into a hub of technology and innovation.
John Hidahl: To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of county government. My private-sector experience and training in change management and lean methods will be applied to improve county processes. 33 years as an elected director of the EDH Fire Dept.
