Scott has been an employee of the club for over 33 years. In fact, he is currently the longest tenured employee working at the club. He is a valued employee who is loved by not only by our membership but the staff as well. If you know Scott, you know he is a quiet person who rarely shares much about his personal life. He is also one of the most positive and enthusiastic people you’ll ever meet. You would never know the struggles he has been facing without reading this story today, but it is now time to share his story.
Those who have been members at the club for a some time may remember Lana, Scott’s wife, and former employee of the club dating back from 1990 to 2008. Scott and Lana have now been married for 26 years.
Lana was diagnosed with Pancreatic and Liver Cancer in August 2018.
Although she’s been through 37 treatments of Chemo, Lana has been very strong. However, as of late her condition has weakened and now requires care around the clock. In order for Scott to take off the time he needs to spend with his wife to support her in this difficult battle, we are asking for your assistance.
Please join our team, and support Lana and Scott through a contribution, big or small, and messages of encouragement, to help Lana in her journey to defeat cancer.
**Please join us at the club, Thursday March 12th, in the Sierra room from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a fundraiser in support of Scott and Lana. The club will be serving a Taco Bar for those in attendance. We will have a donation box present for cards and gifts in the event you want to contribute that evening.
