Closed over Health Violation
PLACERVILLE, Calif. —
An El Dorado County restaurant known for going against the state’s COVID-19 health orders has been evicted.
The El Dorado County Superior Court ordered the tenants of Apple Bistro, located off Highway 50 in Placerville, to be evicted on Thursday.
The court order was issued as a result of a landlord-tenant issue, officials told KCRA 3.
Thursday’s eviction comes less than a month after the El Dorado County Superior Court issued a preliminary injunction to prohibit operations. That court order said owner Jennette Waldow and her company, International Farmers Kitchen LLC, have been operating the restaurant without a health permit since July 2020.
KCRA 3 tried to reach out to Apple Bistro. The call was immediately sent to voicemail with a recorded message that says, “As of March 7, 2022, we have paid our permit to the county.”
It’s unclear if Thursday’s eviction notice was related.
On its Facebook page, there was no mention of its eviction, but the restaurant was asking for financial help to “help Apple Bistro and our fight.”
As of 6:30 p.m., it had raised no money.

“Apple Bistro evicted on well permitting.” What is the issue with the well?
I have not read the complaint so I do not know.
I will see if I can get a copy to find the details.
