PLACERVILLE, CA – Tuesday night the city council will vote on whether to keep the noose or remove it from the city seal.
If they succeed this will be the first step in BLM El Dorado County and the Placerville Rural Resistance mission to remove everything that contains “Hangtown” or a noose from the area.
This will start with the city seal, street signs, “welcome to Hangtown” sign, “Hangtown Christmas” all of it. Businesses with “Hangtown” are also a target and in a database for when they decide to start targeting them.
