Chris Volek of El Dorado High School was honored at the National Football Hall of Fame banquet on March 9th, 2017.
The evening celebrated scholar-athletes from the greater Sacramento area for outstanding merit in academics and athletics.
He was accompanied by family and EDHS Principal Chas Prior.
PERSONAL STATEMENT:
My goals are to be the best at what I do. If that is in the classroom or on the field I will be performing at my highest level to achieve this goal. I understand that winning is not easy or given. It is worked for. I understand work. If anything my highschool football program has taught me it is that work wins football games. I’m a dedicated player on the field and in the classroom. I have not received a B on my transcript and do not plan on it during highschool. I have always been a leader among my peers. my favorite way to teach and to lead is by example and by my actions.
