It is with great sadness that the El Dorado County District Attorney’s office announces the passing of K9 Odin.
Odin passed away today, April 5, 2022 at the age of 14.
Odin served the community with distinction for 9 years from 2013 to 2022 alongside handler District Attorney Investigator, Jim Applegate.
Odin, a Belgian Malinois wore his badge with honor.
He was a fixture at community events and in the District Attorney’s office. K9 Odin was a member of the District Attorney family and will be deeply missed.
