The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District announced last week that Camp Shelly, its family campground in South Lake Tahoe, will remained closed for the entire 2020 camping season due to COVID-19 considerations.
"The health and safety of our community is a top priority," LARPD officials said, adding that their decision was made "with an abundance of caution and careful consideration."
Camp Shelly is a seasonal 25-site campground located in South Lake Tahoe operated by the Livermore district. For more information, visit www.LARPD.org
