{"id":9970,"date":"2020-06-01T21:46:07","date_gmt":"2020-06-02T04:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/?p=9970"},"modified":"2026-01-02T21:47:00","modified_gmt":"2026-01-03T05:47:00","slug":"sheriff-prepares-for-constitutional-protests-and-violent-infiltrators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/2020\/06\/01\/sheriff-prepares-for-constitutional-protests-and-violent-infiltrators\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheriff Prepares for Constitutional Protests and Violent Infiltrators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>EDSO\u00a0Sergeant Anthony Prencipe]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Friends and Neighbors,<\/p>\n<p>Your Sheriff\u2019s Office and I are extremely disturbed with the facts surrounding the death of George Floyd in Minnesota.\u00a0 We have watched the video and understand the amount of emotion and tension that it is causing throughout the country.\u00a0 We, as you, pray that justice prevails throughout that process.\u00a0 We also want to assure all of you that we hold your safety and our Constitutional Rights in the utmost regard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTotal Care\u201d and \u201cTotal Professionalism\u201d are two of the tenets of our Vision Statement.\u00a0 Your Sheriff\u2019s Office is here for the benefit of our community and to ensure its safety.\u00a0 We have, and will continue, to do this by going above and beyond, caring for each and every person that we encounter or is in our custody.<\/p>\n<p>We will continue to train our employees and hire the best possible candidates. We know the level of trust that you put into your local law enforcement and we take our oath seriously.<\/p>\n<p>The 1st\u00a0Amendment guarantees the right of citizens to assemble peacefully and freedom of speech. We understand these rights.\u00a0 We train about these rights and we will not infringe on those rights.<\/p>\n<p>Another tenet of our Vision Statement is \u201cTotal Enforcement on crime and criminals\u201d.
