This count sets congressional representation and federal funding for the county for the next 10 years and is very important that we have accurate data for fair funding.<\/p>\n<p>Census forms will be hitting the mail March of 2020 and people need to fill out their forms as of the date of April 1, 2020. They will have the option to fill out the packet sent to them, go online (link will be in packet) or call a secure phone line listed in the packet.<\/p>\n<h1>2020 Census Jobs Available<\/h1>\n<p>The 2020 Census is seeking part time census takers in El Dorado County. Anyone over 18 year old with a valid social security number or work authorization and an email may apply online at\u00a0<strong><a title=\"2020 Census\" rel=\"noopener\">2020census.gov\/jobs<\/a><\/strong>. Positions are temporary part time with employee setting their own schedule based on availability. These jobs are paying. $18\/hr with a 58 cents\/mile mileage reimbursement. You have three choices for how to vote:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can mail your ballot starting as soon as you receive it.<\/li>\n<li>You can drop off you ballot at any secure Drop Box starting as soon as you receive it. No postage required.<\/li>\n<li>You can go to any Vote Center in the county in person. Vote Centers will be open for up to 11 days in a row.
