Permits make a great holiday gift and are valid for all EID-managed day use areas which include three lakes: Jenkinson, Caples, and Sliver.<\/p>\n<p>Sly Park Recreation Area with Jenkinson Lake at the heart of the park is open all year and offers something for all outdoor enthusiasts. There are over 9 miles of trails that wind around the lake and provide access to more than thirty additional miles of trails. \u00a0Trails are suitable for hiking, biking or riding your horse. There are plenty of places to picnic, \u00a0enjoy water sports, fishing, or just find a place to rest and relax.<\/p>\n<p>Caples and Silver lakes are located off highway 88.
