{"id":8278,"date":"2018-09-17T14:14:17","date_gmt":"2018-09-17T21:14:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/?p=8278"},"modified":"2025-12-19T14:15:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T22:15:07","slug":"road-work-on-happy-valley-road-to-begin-september-24th","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/2018\/09\/17\/road-work-on-happy-valley-road-to-begin-september-24th\/","title":{"rendered":"ROAD WORK ON HAPPY VALLEY ROAD TO BEGIN SEPTEMBER 24TH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Carla Hass]<\/em><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"rteindent1\"><u><strong>Please note the new date of closure is now Wednesday, Sept. 26th, not Monday, Sept. 24th.<\/strong><\/u><\/h3>\n<p>(PLACERVILLE, CA)\u2014 El Dorado County Department of Transportation today announced the full closure of Happy Valley Road beginning Monday, September 24, 2018 through October 29, 2018, weather permitting.<\/p>\n<p>Changeable message signs have been placed in the vicinity to provide notice of the length of closure. \u00a0Changeable message signs are located at the following locations:<\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On Mt. Aukum Road approx. 150 feet northeast of the intersection of Bucks Bar Road and Mt. Aukum Road<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On Mt. Aukum Road approx. 2000 feet north east of Happy Valley Road<\/p>\n<p>3. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0On Mt. Aukum Road approx. 1800 feet north of Happy Valley Cutoff Road<\/p>\n<p>The closure is located one mile from the intersection of Mt. Aukum Road and Happy Valley Road. \u00a0Residents on the west side of the closure will access their homes from Mt. Aukum Road to Happy Valley Road. \u00a0Residents on the east side of the closure will access their homes following the detour of Mt.
