The road closures are scheduled to begin on Monday, July 30, 2018 and continue through Tuesday, July 31, 2018 for grinding, paving, and striping operations.<\/p>\n<p>Access for local residents and visitors, as well as emergency personnel and law enforcement, will be via detour to Sheffield Drive, Lakehills Drive, and Green Valley Road.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe recognize there is a level of inconvenience to motorists who use these roads, but the closures are necessary to ensure motorist and worker safety while the County\u2019s contractor performs work on the roadway as well as for reduction of overall impact times to the traveling public,\u201d said Department of Transportation director, Rafael Martinez.<\/p>\n<p>Motorists are advised to slow down through the work zone and expect delays during full road closure detours and reversing traffic control. Portable changeable message signs will be placed at the approaches to each end of the work zone to keep motorists updated on the schedule for full road closures.
