Military Family Support Group is hosting a memorial to honor Army Staff Sergeant Eric Christopher Schenck, killed in the line of duty in Seoul, South Korea on December 8, 2017. The community is invited to attend and pay their respects in support of his local family and friends.<\/p>\n

FREEDOM ISN’T FREE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chaplain<\/u>\u00a0Tim Thompson will be eulogizing, some of Eric’s family and friends will speak, there will be tributes, and an Honor Guard\/Rifle Salute.<\/p>\n

Refreshments<\/u>\u00a0will be served afterwards.<\/p>\n

Flowers<\/u>\u00a0are welcome.<\/p>\n

Memorial Contributions<\/u>\u00a0(to a fund for Eric’s two young son’s) are welcome. Make checks payable to MFSG (memo: Schenck) or pay online via our PayPal link at\u00a0MFSGonline.org<\/a>\u00a0(also make a note that donation is for “Schenck”)<\/p>\n

Monument<\/u>: Friends of the Monument have graciously offered to place an honorary brick at no cost to the family. Honor Board: Eric Schenck’s name will be added to the MFSG Honor Board on permanent display in the dining room at the Veterans Memorial Building.<\/p>\n

Eric Shenck will be laid to rest in Idaho. A funeral will be held there for him on January 12, 2018.<\/p>\n
