{"id":6823,"date":"2017-11-20T23:16:19","date_gmt":"2017-11-21T07:16:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/?p=6823"},"modified":"2025-12-08T23:17:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T07:17:17","slug":"sheriff-offers-a-hand-up-with-hot-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/2017\/11\/20\/sheriff-offers-a-hand-up-with-hot-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"Sheriff Offers a Hand Up with HOT Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Sergeant Anthony Prencipe, El Dorado County Sheriff&#8217;s Office]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The El Dorado County Sheriff\u2019s Office Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) will be assisting a member of our community this morning by moving him into a home.<\/p>\n<p>Keith is a Navy Veteran who was seen by one of our Patrol Sergeants picking up trash in the Safeway parking lot of Cameron Park. \u00a0When contacted, he told the Sergeant that he was cleaning up trash \u201cbecause it was the right thing to do\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>That Sergeant later became the supervisor of our Homeless Outreach Team.
