Banton’s debut album was the 1985, Mad Professor-produced Mad Professor Captures Pato Banton, followed in 1987 by Never Give In, which included a collaboration with Paul Shaffer and a follow-up to his earlier collaboration with ranking Roger with “Pato and Roger Come Again”<\/p>\n

More recently, Banton has been playing with Mystic Roots, a reggae band formed in Chico, California.<\/p>\n

With the release of his new album \u201cDestination Paradise\u201d Pato Banton is embarking on a musical and spiritual mission across all 50 States of America. At the beginning of this mission Pato decided to create a new band called \u201cThe Now Generation\u201d made up of different members from the LA\/OC area of Southern California.<\/p>\n
