{"id":6268,"date":"2017-07-25T20:46:46","date_gmt":"2017-07-26T03:46:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/?p=6268"},"modified":"2025-12-05T20:48:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-06T04:48:13","slug":"injured-motorcycle-rider-rescued-using-gps","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.newsmolo.com\/EDC\/2019\/2017\/07\/25\/injured-motorcycle-rider-rescued-using-gps\/","title":{"rendered":"Injured Motorcycle Rider Rescued using GPS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>El Dorado County Sheriff&#8217;s Office]<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, El Dorado County Sheriff&#8217;s Office conducted a search and rescue mission for an injured motorcycle rider in the area of Pack Saddle Pass of the El Dorado National Forest.<\/p>\n<p>The rider had crashed on Sunday afternoon, injured his leg and was unable to walk.<\/p>\n<p>After spending the night in the forest, he activated a personal locator beacon device summoning assistance through the International Emergency Response Coordination Center (IERCC).
