Public Safety Appreciation Day on September 7th<\/p>\n

WHAT: Public Safety Appreciation Day
\nWHO: All community members
\nWHERE: 1000 Lakeview Ave. (Lakeview Commons at El Dorado Beach), SLT
\nWHEN: Thursday, September 7, 2017, 5pm-7:30pm<\/p>\n

The City of South Lake Tahoe will be hosting the 2nd Annual Public Safety Appreciation Day on Thursday, September 7, 2017 from 5pm-7:30pm at Lakeview Commons at El Dorado Beach. \u00a0The entire community is invited to attend this event as we say \u201cthank you\u201d to all public safety personnel on the South Shore, including California and Nevada.<\/p>\n

The festivities will include a local live band, BBQ, a thank you card making station and blue ribbons to tie around the trees at Lakeview Commons as a visual way to say thank you. This will be an opportunity for the community to show South Lake Tahoe\u2019s finest men and women how much we appreciate them keeping us safe with their service and sacrifices to our community!<\/p>\n

This is a multiagency event and we will be showing our appreciation to:<\/p>\n

\n– El Dorado County Sherriff Department (including STAR and Search & Rescue)
\n– Fallen Leaf Lake Fire Department
\n– FBI (South Lake Tahoe Division)

\n– South Lake Tahoe Fire Rescue
\n– South Lake Tahoe Police Department
\n– Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District
\n– US Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit<\/p>\n
