POLLOCK PINES, CA \u2013 One person was injured following a car accident on Thursday evening around 7:05 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 50 and Sly Park Road.<\/p>\n
According to a passerby, the collision occurred on the westbound side, just on top of the bridge. A Honda CRV went about 20 to 40 feet off an embankment for unknown reasons. One person was reportedly inside the car and in need of immediately medical care.<\/p>\n
Fire officers, paramedics, a coroner, and towing services were called to the scene to handle the situation and conduct a full report. The condition of the victim was not immediately available at this time.<\/p>\n
The first, second, and fourth lanes of Highway 50 were closed while the rescue and clearing operations were being conducted. The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
