If you\u2019re looking for a scenic run on a unique piece of land, the Historic Lincoln Highway 8K fun run\/jog\/walk is for you.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The event is a non-competitive run\/walk on a stretch of century-old Lincoln Highway concrete. The Clarksville Region History Society invites you to soak up some local history on the nation\u2019s first coast-to-coast roadway.<\/p>\n

A scenic run from EDH Natural Farms, down Old Bass Lake Rd (original Lincoln Hwy) under Hwy 50 on Clarksville Crossing to the Red Barn in the ghost town of Clarksville and back \u2013 or a 4K just one way. Included in registration fee is one year membership in CRHS and commemorative Lincoln Hwy T- shirt! Mail-in registrations must be postmarked by September 23, 2016, to guarantee a T-shirt.<\/p>\n

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, October 1 at El Dorado Hills Natural Farms, 1941 Old Bass Lake Rd. Run, walk or stroll to the Clarksville ghost town site and back. T-shirts are included while supplies last. The run costs $20 for adults and $10 for kids. On site registration opens at 7 a.m. on the day of the event.<\/p>\n
