Placerville, CA \u2013 James Armstrong and Steve Patrick were arrested by Placerville Police Officers after breaking into vehicles in Placerville.<\/p>\n

On September 15, 2016, a resident off of Barrett Drive spotted two males rummaging through his work truck at 6:40 in the morning. The resident scared off the pair, who jumped in a nearby vehicle and quickly drove off. The resident gave chase as he called the Placerville Police Department. Officers located the suspect vehicle and made a traffic stop on Spring Street north of Highway 50.<\/p>\n

Placerville Police Officers identified James Armstrong and Steven Patrick as the two occupants of the suspect vehicle, a 2004 Black, Chevrolet Aveo. Officers located illegal narcotics and stolen property inside the vehicle and learned that the two were on probation out of Sacramento County.<\/p>\n

The two were taken into custody and booked for the following charges; Burglary, PC 459, Possession of burglary tools, PC 466, Violation of Probation, PC 1203.2, Possession of Controlled Substance, H&S11350, Possession of Methamphetamine, H&S 11377, and Driving on a Suspended License, CVC 14601.1(a).<\/p>\n
