Placerville, CA \u2013 The El Dorado County Board of Supervisors announces a special board meeting on December 28, 2016 at 10:00 am to consider accepting a loan from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) totaling $57,140,000 million to build a new public safety facility. The meeting will be held at Building C Hearing Room at 2850 Fairlane Court, Placerville.<\/p>\n
On Wednesday, December 14, 2016, the USDA notified El Dorado County it approved the loan to build a new public safety facility. In addition, the USDA indicated that effective January 1, 2017, interest rates are expected to increase by 1% and in order to secure an interest rate of 2 3\/8%, all loan documents must be executed prior to the beginning of the year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
