While other states are taking action to help their residents, our Governor and Legislature left for spring break without a plan to help Californians. The Legislature needs to pass\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id=202120220AB1638\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/leginfo.legislature.ca.gov\/faces\/billNavClient.xhtml?bill_id%3D202120220AB1638&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1649805876336000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2AI7B0eteIXAHVhgU6q5c4\">AB 1638<\/a>\u00a0as soon as it reconvenes next week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While the Governor previously announced a plan to send $400 rebates back to Californians who own a car, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/esd.dof.ca.gov\/trailer-bill\/public\/trailerBill\/pdf\/643\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/esd.dof.ca.gov\/trailer-bill\/public\/trailerBill\/pdf\/643&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1649805876336000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0_CLxitO3VfcWUtPZip3lj\">proposal released today<\/a>\u00a0has an unspecified rebate amount and includes an unspecified cap on which cars qualify for relief.
