Dianna MacKinnon Henning has taught through California Poets in the Schools, received several California Arts Council grants and taught poetry workshops through the William James Association\u2019s Prison Arts Program – including in Folsom Prison. Diana has been published in\u00a0MacQueen\u2019s Quinterly,\u00a0Artemis Journal,\u00a0The Adirondack Review, Memoir Magazine,\u00a0The Plague Papers (edited by Robbi Nester),\u00a0Pacific Poetry,\u00a0and\u00a0New American Writing.\u00a0In 2021 Diana received a nomination by\u00a0The Adirondack\u00a0Review\u00a0for a Pushcart Prize. Her fourth poetry book, entitled\u00a0Camaraderie of the Marvelous\u00a0is published by Kelsay Books, Sept. 2021.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

Lara Gularte is the El Dorado County Poet Laureate for 2021-2023. Her book of poetry,\u00a0Kissing the Bee,\u00a0was published by The Bitter Oleander Press, in 2018.\u00a0Nominated for several Pushcart Prizes, Gularte has been published in national and international journals and anthologies. Her poetry depicting her Azorean heritage is included in the\u00a0The G\u00e1vea-Brown Book of Portuguese-American Poetry,\u00a0and in\u00a0Writers of the Portuguese Diaspora in the United States and Canada.\u00a0She is affiliated with the\u00a0Cagarro Colloquium: Azorian DiasporaWriters, at the Portuguese Beyond Borders Institute (PBBI), California State University-Fresno. Gularte is a creative writing instructor for Arts in Corrections at Mule Creek prison.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n
