Hansen<\/pre>\n<p><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice4dionvaccaro.com\/\">Dion Vaccaro<\/a><\/u>, one of the Tahoe 5, was found guilty of the murder of Dennis \u201cSpike\u201d Wright, Jr., in 2020 and is seeking to overturn the conviction, claiming he was wrongfully convicted.<\/p>\n<p>Vaccaro, Dominic Randolph, Tristan Batten,\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/original.newsbreak.com\/@robert-j-hansen-1587368\/2467654600063-demonstration-for-harvest-davidson-trial-held-up-years-due-to-el-dorado-da-s-failure-to-provide-discovery?s=influencer\">Harvest Davidson<\/a><\/u>, and\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/original.newsbreak.com\/@robert-j-hansen-1587368\/2508953624779-harvest-davidson-and-treverez-lopez-of-tahoe-5-back-in-court-judge-arrives-over-20-minutes-late?s=influencer\">Tevarez Lopez<\/a><\/u>\u00a0all are being charged with Wright\u2019s murder, and are known as the Tahoe 5. All have been in jail or prison since their arrests.<\/p>\n<p>Wright was the victim when a marijuana sale to prospective buyers at a motel in South Lake Tahoe went wrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDue to ineffective assistance from my appointed counsel and prosecutorial misconduct, my case resulted in a spurious conviction,\u201d Vaccaro said.
