The fresh snow of South Lake Tahoe attracts visitors from all over the world. \u201cI love snow. It\u2019s beautiful enough to freeze to death,\u201d said Whitley Montgomery of Washington, DC, in town to celebrate the weekend. Her 24th birthday with her family. Her mother and sister went on a trip from Los Angeles. Jessica Ron went sledding from Sacramento. \u201cIt\u2019s beautiful. I\u2019ve never seen South Lake Tahoe like this,\u201d Ron said. Skiers and snowboarders used fresh stuff. Heavenly Ski Resort powder. According to the resort, last week\u2019s storm snowed more than 4.5 feet. It was a pleasant surprise for those who had planned a visit in advance. \u201cI\u2019m very happy,\u201d said Elsio Dutra of Utah. \u201cIt\u2019s a great time because I was worried that the resort wouldn\u2019t be in time by the time I got here.\u201d<\/p>\n
