Two out-of-state men, one of them a Wisconsin native, face marijuana
\ntrafficking charges after state and federal authorities, investigating an influx
\nof high-grade marijuana from California, last week seized nearly $270,000 in
\ncash from a hotel room and more than 200 pounds of vacuum-sealed marijuana from
\na storage locker.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dane County Court Commissioner Todd Meurer said Wednesday during a court
\nappearance for the two men that it was the largest marijuana-involved case that
\nhe recalls coming before him.<\/p>\n

Jonathan Stansfield, 37, of Berwick, Maine, and\u00a0Dylan C. Hudson, 26,
\nof Placerville, Calif., were charged Wednesday with possession of marijuana with
\nintent to deliver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

According to a search warrant filed Tuesday in Dane County Circuit Court,
\nagents last Thursday conducted a controlled delivery of 90 pounds of marijuana
\nto Stansfield, which had been shipped from California to Illinois.<\/p>\n

Stansfield was followed from Chicago to Madison, where he went to the Crowne
\nPlaza Hotel, 4402 E. Washington Ave., then left with Hudson.<\/p>\n
