Campgrounds are generally open from mid-May through mid-October.<\/p>\n<p>Sugar Pine Point, Tahoe Valley and Zephyr Cove campgrounds are open year-round. Wood and charcoal fires are permitted within metal fires rings in open developed campgrounds, provided seasonal restrictions are not in place. Camping is permitted in developed campgrounds- dispersed or vehicle camping is not permitted.
