SOME EL DORADO COUNTY GOVERNMENT OFFICES MODIFY OFFICE HOURS and\u00a0PUBLIC\u00a0 ACCESS DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

(PLACERVILLE, CA) \u2013 Due to the most recent change in the State\u2019s approach to fighting the COVID-19\u00a0 virus by instituting a Regional Stay At Home Order, the following government offices have made additional changes to business operations:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Assessor<\/strong><\/u>\u2013 Effective December 28th, both Placerville and South Lake Tahoe offices will be closed to the public on Mondays and Fridays with automated voicemail message instructions. The offices will be\u00a0 open normally on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Elections<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0— Lobby is closed to walk-ins; appointment only.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Health and Human Services<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0— Self Sufficiency Program in South Lake Tahoe lobby hours are:\u00a0 Monday-Friday 1:00 pm-5:00 pm<\/p>\n

Employment Resource Centers in Placerville and South Lake Tahoe are closed to the public \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Human Resources<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0— lobby hours are changed to Monday-Friday 10:00 am-12:00 pm and 1:00pm 3:00pm<\/p>\n

El Dorado County Historical Museum\u00a0<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n

The County Museum building and its in-house programs (Museum Exhibits and Research Room) remain closed to the public until further notice. You can visit the museum website to take a virtual tour to see the exhibits currently on display. You may also call the Museum for Research assistance and information.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Treasurer-Tax Collector<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0—\u00a0The Tax Counter is closed until further notice.\u00a0However, the public can\u00a0 call 530-621-5800 if they want to make an appointment. The Treasury in open Monday, Wednesday\u00a0 and Friday 8:00 am To 11:30 am.<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Surveyor\u2019s Office<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0— open to the public with a one-person at a time limit at the public counter.<\/p>\n
